Safe Spot is a counselling service supporting adolescents (ages 10 and up) and adults.
My Approach
My approach is client-lead, meaning that I aim to create a space that is warm, empathetic and non-judgmental. I am inclusive and neurodiversity affirming, and I use a variety of approaches depending on your needs, including solution-focused therapy, strengths-based therapy, psychoeducation, expressive arts and narrative therapy. I believe that therapy should be a shared journey, and I will work with you to ensure that the way we 'do' counselling works for you.
Who we are
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and the primary counsellor at Safe Spot Counselling. I am also an Approved Victims Services Counsellor. I have extensive experience providing counselling to children, adolescents and families in private practice, schools and in the community. I am is passionate about helping young people and adults navigate life transitions, social pressures and relationships (including with themselves).
